holy crap an hour and a half and still only 70% (wich ive been siting at for an hour)
i know everyone is trying to get it at the same time but they should have anticipated the drag on the servers and fixed it before hand

My last game was Lord of the Rings Online and their servers went down or slowed more often than I thought was reasonable. Compared to STO, however, they were FAR faster and more reliable. Since starting this game, I've been really surprised at how slow the servers are and how often they are down.

It's a known issue, I'm getting it, too, now that I've managed to get patched.

This is why I elected to do other things today. Like, nap.

No launch of any MMO could ever have been described as 'smooth' and that goes just as well for major expansions. I'll give it a try later tonight after I finish my work and see how it goes.
