The Dreadnought

so i'm getting the Dreadnought Cruiser when i hit that rank, and i'm wondering if anyone in the fleet owns one, if so got any good ideas for tank or dps builds? or any sights that might help out? i've wanted this thing since the episode "all good things"

I've got one. It can put out DPS along with tanking if built right so you wouldn't have to pick just one. I can even help with a beam build or an all cannon build.

I like it because I'm a Galaxy class guy, that's the Enterprise I grew up on. Not a huge fan of the cannons and 3rd nacelle for visuals but she still is nice. Basically it's a slower RA standard Sovereign with its layout and options. So if you don't mind turning like a whale then she will be fine. That's really the only reason I don't fly mine much. There will probably be a Fleet version in the mix along the line, but I think they are still looking to get Saucer sep for it first, which that's been talked about for well over a year already.

Now if they had a more Tac friendly standard Galaxy.....I would probably deal with the whale thing.

i admit that i'm not a fan of the cannon turrets up top, but love everything else about this ship, the handling like a brick in mud thing doesn't bother me, and if you have the time would love to pick your brain about a beam and cannon build. i've liked the shape since i saw it, my enterprise started with the original (which i bought) it's a great little starter ship. thank you for your help.
