Subject: Starfleet Corps of Engineers Welcome Guide.

Welcome to 7th Fleet, Task Force 70, and the Starfleet Corps of Engineers. This welcome guide is in place to tell you who and what we are. As the Corps of Engineers, we are of course familiar with most aspects of Federation Tecnology, but we also strive to be as familiar as we can be with all aspects of Star Trek Online.

Our goal, as the Corps of Engineers is to assist other captains with questions they may have pertaining to STO and related Federation Tech. Some of our tasks may include:

-Thinking outside the box.

-Designing new and improved Offensive and Defensive load outs.

-Experimentation with Weapon Effects vs. Enemy Type.

-Assisting Fleet Engagements as an Engineer

-Willingness to assist other fleet members with questions or advice.

Please note, you do not need to be an In-Game Engineer to be part of TF70 and the Corps of Engineers. We need any and all minds in our endeavor to improve and maintain shipboard life for the fleet. We ask that you always keep an open mind, and think outside of the box. A lot of situations can be solved in STO with a “Scotty-tude” aka, thinking like scotty, improvising to reach whatever end.

We are the Corps of Engineers, if someone has a question about Deflectors, or ship load outs, any one of us should be able to either answer, or direct someone to the answer. We need TF70 members of all classes, Tactical, Engineer, and Science. With a greater pool of minds, we have the ability to “Cover all of our bases.”

Our TF70 Forum should be an oasis of Engineering information, If anyone should ever have a question, or just need to look something up, just log onto your L-CARS and surf on over to TF70.
