just in-case you don't have it and are stuck with the vent's basic overlay, you can download a 3-rd party program that has a better overlay then vent, is a decent program and doesn't take up too much memory, have used it for years with no problems till i got a G15 keyboard

Those Logitech LCD's are the bomb. I inherited an XPS M1730 and I wondered for a long time what the stupid little LCD was for.
And then I saw the option in Vent ... it's the coolest thing since sliced bread.

Well on second thought, apparently this thing isn't working the way it's supposed to. Soooo... don't do it. THAT'S an order. (To those that I can order around) In fact, disregard this post completely. Just look the other way. *points* Look! Something shiny!!
