TF-79 Combat Patrol Schedule

As part of fulfilling TF-79's mission, all captains are invited to join Combat Patrols on any Wednesday evening.

These will be small squad space combat patrols. TF-79 will lead a group of vessels in either Special Task Force Missions, Storyline Missions, or Fleet Actions.

Check TF-79 voicecomms on Wednesday nights for details or an invite. Start time will be zero hundred hours GMT (2000 EST). Come and go as you please, listen to your squad commander, and have fun.

In the event that patrols will not take place, either Commander Mac Ardell or myself will post a cancel notice in this thread.

If there are TF-79 members who are not yet max level, this time may also be used to help those members gain in-game grade.

Just to make sure there is no confusion, start time for TF-79 CAP is Wednesday nights, 8pm EST. If you sign up for the event using the in game calendar, you may get this:

The Event Calendar is sending out this message pretty much every time I zone, although the event was never edited. Little buggy, I guess.

Also of note is that any event in the calendar is shown already adjusted for your time zone. So if an event says it starts at 2pm, it starts at 2pm your time. The owner of the event enters the start time on his end by using his own time zone, and your pc and the STO calendar will automatically adjust it for you.

Tonight's CAP will kickoff with a short meeting restricted to TF-79 personnel. I know it's short notice, but I hope you guys (Mac, Max, and Randle) can make it tonight.

Shouldn't take long; I just want to go over a couple of things with you guys.

After this is concluded, we will be moving on to complete Season 1, Episode 5 in Deferi space. From there we will see how we're doing on time and either conclude CAP or possibly run something else, depending on the needs/wants of the assembled group at the time.

Tomorrow night's CAP will be a bit different than standard. I hope you've been stocking up on critical components.

We will be patrolling areas where squad members can earn VA emblems; starting out in the Orellia Sector for Deferi dailies and moving to B'Tran. We will be doing these on elite level difficulty, so that not only will we get our smattering of emblems, but in all likelyhood will be returning to SB-1 with a sack full of Blue quality MK X and MK XI gear.

Loot setting will be on Master Looter, threshold Rare, and loot will be distributed at the end of the patrol based on individual need as determined by myself. Any unclaimed equipment will go into the Fleet Bank.

We will also be discussing the possibilty of running STF's for future CAP's. If you have any interest in becoming part of a 5 to 7 man rotating squad to work through the Borg STF's, and are typically available on Wednesday nights, please get with me for tomorrow night's CAP and we will look at setting up a team for future assaults in Gamma Orionis.
