I had a goofy, little immersion question. Seeing that the shuttle naming convention on the Enterprise was ancient astronomers, what naming convention do you have for the shuttles on your ship(s)? Aboard the Alliance, the shuttles are named after the moons of Jupiter: Europa, Io, Callisto, Ganymede, so on. You may have never even considered this, but, I was curious if anyone else had. If you have, please, post.

My TOS shuttle is the only one named after the TOS naming convention. It's the U.S.S. Copernicus. Other shuttles are the U.S.S. Xerxes, the I.K.S. Ymir's Daughter, and I also have a Yellowstone named the U.S.S. Amazon. I tend to name my shuttles with whatever I feel fits the ship. The only exception being the Copernicus. If I were to have a second TOS shuttle, it would be the Tycho Brahe.
