A while back STO announced that they would soon be able to purchase ship models threw the game. Does anyone know if we are able to now? Also, if so has anyone ordered one yet? I would like to know how big it is and how nice the quality is of the model.

they are still working out details but you can go to THIS SITE to see what they have to offer in terms of quality and other games they 3d print for

There is no ordering info on that site, it say to order from within the game. Only I haven't found how to order from the game yet.

no.. the blog about it says you can order it in game WHEN AVAILABLE... so it isn't available at this moment :)
EDIT - yes my ISP decided to let me back onto the website WOO!

from what I read, there will be a new tab in the ship selector via an NPC that will go to the starship tailor and let you customize/kit bash it, then there will be a button that says "buy" next to the save button.
