Yet another pack I will not be able to afford.

I would have to agree, where the fed ships are concerned. The science vessel is interesting looking, and not terribly ugly, but the other 3 fed ships aren't so hot imho.
The Romulan and KDF ships don't look bad though.

Indeed they are (refer to my previous compliant on Cryptic design).
I'm with Shack. The KDF and Rommie stuff doesn't look bad. I actually like them and it might put me playing my Klingon more then I have as of late.
Not really feeling the Fed Science ship. I don't really care for the ring design. That's a lot of empty space that could of been used for more labs/quarters/storage/etc. Doesn't seem to make any Engineering sense to me.
I'm partial to the Guardian cruiser. While not very pleasing either, at least it has the "look" I've referred to in the past. Just doesn't follow along my Engineer thinking. The design behind the Sovereign and Intrepid was to get away from the vulnerable "necks". Remember DS9 and the U.S.S. Odyssey? The "neck" was found to be the weak point to the Galaxy and why Starfleet Engineer Corps started streamlining them out.
As of now on looks from what's provided though, it will more then likely be choice for T6 till something better comes up. That or just go 5U.

The pack tempts me.
I may hold off on a Fleet Galaxy and give Torin that Guardian cruiser. The Scryer looks different. I kinda like it's silhouette. The fed science ship looks odd. Still I can see my using some of these ships. I'm wondering if it would be cheeper in the long run to just get the package. hmm...

I think that if you spend time on toons from all 3 factions, then it's probably worth it. What's tempting to me is not the ships so much as the other assorted goods that come with the pack; the officers and such. I didn't pull the trigger on the Legacy pack, but this time around I'm considering it.

I really like the new ships. They definitely are a change from the norm, but I really like the style they've gone with. I might have to pick this pack up.

Interesting, indeed. This would be a no-go for me; saving up for a super-duper gaming computer. However, if they offer a smaller package in the future, that was "race" specific, I might consider it. I got the smaller package they offered when they came out with New Romulas and was pleased with that.

The Guardian looks like an Ambassador with a few Galaxy inspired designs, however the escort does look interesting.

The escort looks like a tech pancake. Of all the ships, I would have to say it's the least interesting.

That it does, but at least it looks pleasing and like an actually ship you would probably see cranked out on a show. I'm on board with the Escort being the least attractive as well. It's like you took a Defiant and put it on a railroad track to flatten out like you would a penny. But to each his own. Obviously someone at Cryptic and CBS agrees with you or it wouldn't be here.

I hope these come with some canon skins because I am not a fan of the futuristic style ships. Nevertheless, I bought it.

re: Delta Rising Operations Pack
I thought that the Starfleet science ships were ugly, but wow. The intel ships are a lot worse. Granted, if I had to choose between functionality and beauty, function would win every time. But in a game you have to enjoy what you are doing or what is the point? The Guardian cruiser is not easy on the eyes either. I initially thought that they would go the route of the Vesta, but I was way wrong. None of those vessels are designed for atmospheric flight and it shows on their skins.
Has anyone heard if they will sport unique bridges? I only ask because I like the Cat Carrier, but hesitate to buy it because I actually use my bridges and the lack of a unique bridge irritates me. If they did the same thing with the tier 6 intel ships, then they can keep them and I will just upgrade what I have to 5U and be done with it.
