Could be - I remember when they introduced "The Hive". I think those missions are comparable to "Elite" on normal difficulty, and the "Elite" versions I have yet to be able to beat on any pick-up team I've tried. I like that they're a bit more challenging though, since a lot of the STF's have become too routine.
