So sports fans, I got wnd that the Fleet has people on Begren Colony server, so I rolled a Bounty Hunter Named Ashalan so I can play with you. Is there a guild there? Can someone please let me know who the people are so I can friend them?

I know Mr. G (aka Ganos'lal) has invite privileges to a Sith Empire guild on that server. I have a Merc (27) and Jugg (23) in it. I also have a Gunslinger (35), 'mando (32), Shadow (32), and Vanguard (29) on the Pub side. Some might be in a guild, but it's basically a dead guild.

Which side should I play? I prefer Empire, but care more about playing with people I know.

I transferred my 60 Marauder to the server. Maybe one of my Rep 60's later this month.

Now that I have a full time job that pays a decent wage, I find myself with some disposable income. I'm considering whether or not to spend some of it on SWtOR - specifically, on the Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion. My highest level character is currently 40; as a Preferred account, I don't get the ludicrous 12x XP for storyline missions (not knocking those that have it - just that 12x seems a bit much). Trying to weigh whether or not it's worth it to get the expansion (or possibly pre-order Rise of Revan, since I would get RotHC for the same price, as I understand it) before I reach my current level cap of 50.

I would recommend that you subscribe for a month. The Knights of the fallen empire expansion is free to subscribers and I think that I read that subs will get it along with hurts and revamp expansion for free once it launches letter this month. The 12x xp ends on the 19th I think, and it's there so you can do the story and hit 60 without having to do all of the grinding to keep your level up. Subs will also have the option to create 1 level 60 character to go straight into the new expansion of they so choose.
