re: Honey I'm home!
Yes I'm back, sorry for being AWOL for the past month or so, I've been doing quite a lot of things one of the most notable is my application to the Australian Defense Force, I haven't told anyone in the fleet yet because the application process is soooooo slow I've been waiting since the start of the year to actually get the preliminary medical check, let alone the aptitude testing. And what I've found out so far is... I'm not color blind. No joke here six months for a medical check and all they do is ask my if I'm color blind. So yeah, but aside from that I do have some good news. The hour long aptitude test did give some more results then, "Well your not color blind" as it is there are easily 100+ jobs in the ADF and for some reason (maybe they mixed up my test scores?) my aptitude score allows me to apply for at least 90% of them. The only thing I need to do know is wait for my next medical check, who knows maybe they'll check if I can actually see. After that I get to know when I go to boot camp. And for that I get three choices respectively they are the Army boot camp (Also known as 36 weeks of hell) The Naval base in Victoria (Prepare for seasickness bitch) and the New South Wales Airbase (We change your sheets and make your beds daily). So yeah I've chosen three jobs that I can apply for, well actually the misses sort of chose them for me. She fears that as a cook for an airbase I'll comeback home with PTSD. So I'm not going to be a Rifleman or Combat Engineer :( though she didn't say anything about being a pilot.
So that's been the last month or so for me I hope I didn't miss too much on the fleet. Though for all I know Hau could have logged on STO while I was gone.
Oh I almost forgot, I have a misses now so Cain can stop looking for catgirls for me.

Welcome back mate, been too long.
Good luck on your application, hopefully my gorram paperwork goes through soon myself. Either way, good luck with basic.

Yes, welcome back and congrats. Be sure when the time comes you go on reserve status with a note as to what you are doing and about how long it will be. Training means you will probably not be able to log in to the game or this site for months on end. I have fond memories of doing the "Flying Dragon" in basic for hours on end - 26 years ago. Good luck.
