Gets on Soapbox.......
Last year I switched over to Duck Duck Go as my primary search engine. I like my privacy and I don't like folks tracking my stuff on the internet like a certain company whose mantra use to be is "Do no Evil." IMHO, Goggle has done a 180 from their "do no evil" days and has join the ranks of Wall Street Bankers, Investment Firms, Electronic Arts, ComCast, and Monsanto.
Check it out if you value your privacy:

Cheers!

Been doing the same thing. I've been using DDG as well and just got a Protonmail email account as a way of beginning to divest myself from anything Google. I will soon be canceling cable TV because I don't like that some of my monthly fees go to channels like ESPN or CNN. I would rather wipe my ass with the money than give it to them. Apparently poor ratings are not enough to cause changes for the better at these and other really bad networks, because they get licensing fees from people's cable subs. Not any more from me. I find myself rarely watching TV anyway, and the greater part of it is streaming services like Netflix. My hope is that someday, if enough of us cut the cord, then the big cable companies will finally let us pick a channel package by letting us choose a number of channels, and picking the exact ones we want a la carte. I would love that!
