re: What is your ship's name and NCC# going to be?
Just wanted to get a fleet record started on what you think your ship name and NCC# is going to be? You can reply to this post and I will start the Fleet log...

I was thinking of starting with USS Dewey NCC-1045 in honor of DDG-45 which I served aboard for a training cruise as a midshipman.

I'm currently more than pleased aboard the Centurion serving under Brig. General Kelley however I've noted my soon reassainment and have thought quite abit about it. USS Tokai as in the Japanese word for "city". The basic structure of civilized beings, and a hub of exchange and comradere. A city is a place of refuge and safety where individuals of all types can converge and when needed cities are fortified and outfitted for production of the mighty war machine. NCC 1921.

USS TRIAL
NCC-1948
The USS Trial (NCC-1948) was a Miranda-class Federation starship that was in service during the late 24th century.
In early 2372, the Trial, accompanied by the USS Venture and two unnamed Excelsior class starship, were part of Admiral Hastur's task force that relieved Deep Space 9 following the first Battle of Deep Space 9. The ship later docked at the station after the Klingon withdrawal. (DS9: "The Way of the Warrior")
All subsequent appearances of this vessel were as a result of recycled footage.
It would return to visit Deep Space 9 again in 2373. (DS9: "Doctor Bashir, I Presume")
The Trial later fought in the Dominion War, and would take part in Benjamin Sisko's task force assigned to retake Deep Space 9. It was one of the first starships to arrive at the station after the Dominion withdrawal. (DS9: "Sacrifice of Angels")
This will do

My plan plan is to call my ship the USS Carpathia and, after Cryptic updated the Ships of the Line tab, adding letters to the name as I advance in rank and update my ship. I think that would be pretty worthy of Star Trek lore . and as for the registry number I have no idea. It won't be NCC-1337 though, that I'm sure of...

Although I'm posted on the Centurion, I would eventually like to command my own small-medium cruiser. I want to name her the USS Columbia NCC-2220.

I read this on a dev post
•Your ship configuration determines which of your bridge officers can be active. For instance, an escort-type ship may have more Tactical officers on the bridge than a science ship. [CZ10] It also determines what equipment the ship has. [Dc4]
•There is additional diversity in ship customization on the Klingon side because the different species' (Klingons, Gorn, Orion, etc.) ships are very different from each other. [CZ10]
•You can pick your ship name and registry number. [JE1]
•Uniforms can be customized to some extent. [AC3]
•In the future, players may get access to more of the tools, allowing them to create missions and the like. [JE3]
Also read somewhere about unique numbers and some ship names will be locked out ( Enterprise,Voyager, Defiant, Stargazer...etc, etc
