7th Fleet Wiki Standards
The following is an example, including descriptions of the Standards that a 7th Fleet Wiki Page should adhere to.
Nested Links at Top | Separated by Pipes | Back to Default
Page Title uses the 'Heading 1' Format
by HunterAP - Separator Bar under page title followed by Author/credits on a single line
Table of Contents should use the 'Heading 2' Format
The table of contents heading should be followed by a Separator Bar.
- Table of Contents is not required
- ToC should be a numbered list
- ToC entries should be links to anchors within the document
- Anchors do not support spaces in the names, just FYI
Major Topics use the 'Heading 2' Format
Major topics use a Separator Bar to distinguish themselves from other sections.
There should always be a blank line before the next topic/subtopic.
SubTopics may use Format "Heading 3' through 'Heading 5', the deeper the SubTopic, the deeper the heading.
Do not use a separator bar below subtopics.
- Use bullet lists for grouping and indenting (Guild Launch may update the WYSIWYG editor with better indent/list support soon)
- To create a wiki page link, simply enclose some text in double block brackets (without spaces between them); [ [Default] ]
When you save the page, you'll be able to click on the new link and edit the new page. - Links to anything other than an anchor should use the New Page Target (_blank)
- Try to avoid using special formatting and characters. Use the remove formatting and clean up messy code buttons to ensure that your wiki page is clean.
- Avoid using Shift+Enter if possible
