In what is now being called "one the greatest religious and social movements in Romulan history." Romulans who have lost limbs either in war or as a result of accidents are banding together in unprecedented numbers. There is no loftier social activity for the Romulan than attending live entertainment. Whether it's the theater, a concert or movie Romulans worship live entertainment. "Their two deities of Entertainment", Laurelious and Hardious demand high tribute in the form of applause. Not applauding is considered to be insulting and sacrilegious. For years "One Armed Romulans" were outraged, they were accused of being "Insulting to the Gods" for not being able to applaud. In Romulan culture only the act of bringing your two hands together is considered applauding. Hitting any other object or part of your body with a hand is considered a depraved act,comparable too releasing anal gas and blaming another. For these reasons the so called "Outrage" clubs were formed.The movement started slowly but it has been picking up momentum and now there are clubs in every major Romulan city and town. So now when a one handed Romulan decides to attend any kind of entertainment venue..he or she will first visit an "Outrage Club" and find another Romulan wishing to attend said event. If there is no "Event Partner" at the club than one may rent a partner at a reasonable rate. The two than go on to attend the event and can now applaud by each using the one hand they have.and are not looked upon as being insulting to the gods. ((Ok, i relise that this is a bit self serving, and has absolutely no chance of winning; but the after the amount of crap i take from the MD i think i'm entiled to a bit of self indulgence.))

Romulans are angered at the tactics Starfleet has enacted over the past few days. Witnesses to the battle of Rohan 472 describe a modified Cerberus class escort appearing out of nowhere, destroying a large portion of the Romulan fleet, and then vanishing. Romulans stated that the ship in question used a cloak, technology banned by the Romulan-federation treaty. Admiral Quinn had this to say; “First off, they were attacking a federation system. So if the Romulans want to endorse these images they are acknowledging that they were behind the attack, and it was not the work of some rouge element. Secondly, the Romulan-Federation treaty was made between the federation council and the Romulan Star Empire. The Star Empire has been dissolved and that treaty is essentially null and void.”

And what about this ship? Not only did it appear from nowhere, but it the images supplied by the Romulans clearly showed the registration “NCC-101629”, the registration of the USS Kusanagi, Captain Kel Zor’ah Har’cos’ ship. Kel Zor’ah Har’cos was behind the coup of the Thosian Har’cos clan and the subsequent exodus from Thosia, and is now leader of the Thosian Refugees. It is unclear whether or not she or the Thosians were behind this brutal defence, with no comment being given as to the status of the captain.

What is clear is that the Romulans have suffered a major blow in their offensive, many have lost their lives, and many more have been injured, with most of them being dismembered. They have erected a small monument in the memory of the losses they suffered at the hands of the merciless ship.

The newest sensation to hit the Romulan subspace radio channel "Outrage" a progressive musical group formed entirely by one handed Romulans, it seems they were inspired by an ancient Rock n Roll band from Earths distant past - a band called "Death Leopard" (( intentionally spelled wrong )) who sported a drummer with one arm.
a Romulan supporter was overheard saying this " It shows everyone that the Romulan spirit can never be put down".

Another civilian revolt was reported in the Romulan sector today. It seems the "One Armed" group staged this event in the hope to get the attention of the local government. With the local economy doing poorly and the the price of ore dropping; it has been increasingly hard on the public. The "One Armed" groups demands that the government and the people work hand and hand to find a solution. If you walk threw the colonies you can see white hand prints on the walls. Each print was placed by colonist who needs assistance. I was told by one member, "In other cultures, one must raise their hand before being allowed to make a statement. The government can see our hands and we have made our statement. That is all." There you have it people, will the government help? Or will they refuse to lend a hand? We will be doing a fallow up on this story later on SNN.

One armed Romulans, outraged by the recent promotion of 7th fleet's most notorious starship captain Angus Turner, were seen protesting outside of 7th Fleet Command today. They painted their hand and placed it on the outermost wall, in an effort to convey their wish to keep Starfleet's nose out of their business.

"Good walls make good neighbors," said one Romulus Reaganus, who chanted "Hold up this wall" with as many as 5 of his fellow protestors.

One armed Romulans OutRaged Due To Assimilated Tribbles! "Why is there only a few around?" said one Romulan owner. Others are outraged due to not owning one. Some even wrote unhappy letters to star trek online saying, "If they dont provide tribbles which have been assimilated they may write another letter." Some even have resorted to trying to Assimilate their tribbles without Cryptic's help. Lawsuits are ensuing. Meanwhile Hybrid Borg Tribbles are running rampant outraging more one armed Romulans.
