The past week has been an eventful week. During fighting several fleet action against the Klingons at Starbase 24, and the Luerentia system the Seattle took a lot of damage. We were able to repel the assault on the Federation outposts but if not for the heroic efforts of my crew and ENS Gren our Bajoran Chief Engineer the Seattle would have all but fallen apart before we reached Earth Spacedock.



To that end, the Seattle has been decommissioned and myself and my crew have been given the task to forgo a shakedown run on the newly commissioned U.S.S. Seattle-A NX 93492.

I have been able to grant 48 hours of leave as our op tempo and combat stress has been high, and the crew deserves it. I wish it could be longer... however we have been ordered to with rendeavue with TF Hippocrates in the Xaratine system in order to stop hit and run attacks along the border. Admiral Turner thinks that these "harassing" attacks are prelude to a complex attack, testing our defenses and resolve in the region. My crew and the Seattle-A will be ready... they have.. to be ready...[/img]
