re: Thank you Colonel Blodveard...
Want to say thank you for standing up for what is right I am in total support of this and you are M********kn right sir...
This is the image Cryptic Wants??
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I was curious to see what type of people are on this Advisory Council, so i hit one of their links:
Adm. BERLIN NICCALS
U.S.S. Shut Up, Wesley
http://shutupwesley.tumblr.com/
First thing I get is an eye full of ***** ****in.....Is this what Cryptic finds as acceptable representation?
Oh, and I wrote the M-F because it is obviously ok with Cryptic's forum rules now, its coming from one of their hand picked council members.
You can read the entire thread here from the STO site...

That's some messed up crap...
The guys from STOked? Sure...they rock. They were around at the beginning. They have a good insight into things.
Who the hell IS this person? Just looking at the name, she's a person I would have my ignore list almost instantly. And the site...
You know, sure, I'm religious (happy easter by the way y'all) and I try not to curse too much...but I don't mind the cursing. But seriously? You're a company that markets video games en masse to the masses, and you're going to link ANYONE to THAT site? I wouldn't link it to my mother, why the hell would I link it to anyone else?
And who the hell picked these people to be on this counsel anyway?
UGGH...this game gets so frustrating at times in it's complete moronicness (now a word)...What was so HARD about using the same model of games that have worked, like EVERY OTHER frackin' game that came out BEFORE Cryptic and Atari merged?

On a side note...I clicked the e-mail link and offered my services on the board. We'll see just how open this thing is.

thank you sir for bringing this too light, i get more and more dissappointed at some of the decisions being made by cryptic, and hopefully by people bringing it up they will see the errors of their ways.
salute sir

Maybe we should start our own committee, and everymonth come up with ideas and all mass email and post them on STO forums so our voices will be heard!

Actually, that's not far off from thoughts I had.
IMO, fleets are the ideal way for Cryptic to receive constructive user input. Fleets have built-in methods for communicating with large numbers of players. Through fleet leadership, feedback can be garnered, appropriately filtered, and submitted to Cryptic for consideration.
I recall that the 7th Fleet is a member of at least a couple of 'fleet associations'. My recommendation would be for those associations to step up and form their own advisory body, along with a system for inputting and reviewing feedback.
If the fleets all band together, and assertively push their own advisory structure, I believe Cryptic will listen.

thats a good idea, other than how complicated it would be to get other fleets to work together.

Thank you for your support Admiral and others....
I fought pretty hard against this, and picked up 5 infractions....I will just ride out the rest of this fight and see what changes take place come Monday.
I couldn't care less if they ban me from the forums, but I don't want to lose any game time this weekend.

good job being the squeeky wheel...I noticed it too. AND no mention was made of it by ANY Devs either...kinda mad about that. Even if they just put a "yeah...we really don't know why. Sorry guys," I'd be happy.
