New patch for the Rafale. Details forthcoming from St. Peter

Details, right.

I realize "Undisputed Border" is going a little slow, but trying to write fiction for this group and two other groups for (overall) 6 different characters can be daunting, especially since here I have two stories going simultaneously here for one character; the one (Ghost Ship) takes place two-three weeks before "Undisputed Border." But, it is important to remember that both of those stories take place on the Akira-Class USS Rafale, NCC-93017.

Obviously, the ship featured on this patch is NOT an Akira; it's an Hephaestus/Cerberus-class hybrid, with a different registry number (NX-93017-A). Akira-Class Rafale will be destroyed; obviously, it's going to happen in "Undisputed Border," and I've already been RPing in game that this has already happened. Jess has already moved on to the new Rafale that this patch was made for.

The patch itself is a much closer homage to the fighter-jet Rafale patch that I posted months ago in the Historical Patches gallery (or whatever it's called, I can't remember), where the ship is featured in the center, angled up with the name emblazoned proudly near the bottom. The storm cloud background was kept from the original patch Shack created. The registry and motto were repositioned (although, now that I'm looking at it again, I wonder if we could see it with the motto on top and the registry on the bottom? It's cool now, regardless), and the Seventh fleet logo is still shown as well.

Overall, Shack did an awesome job with this re-design for the new Rafale, and I certainly can't wait to see this in the shop! On some black shirts. Thanks Shack!!
