I have a problem with this. Why was I not notified? The chain of command works both ways. As his (now prior) commanding officer I should have been informed.

I don't have a problem with the transfer itself, but rather the lack of communication.

I don't know why I didn't, I certainly wasn't purposefully withholding information - I'm just a dumbass sometimes. It has been in the works for a bit. I am terribly sorry, Mr. Anders.

It's really no problem. I just want to make sure we all communicate with each other about these type of situations. At least a pm so I (or anyone else) am not blindsided when I see this on the front page.

You gotta do what you gotta do. 79 needs officers I understand. In the end it's best for the Fleet, and you have yourself a fantastic XO.

Thank You All. I greatly appreciate the consideration of the Command Staff for this appointment and promotion to the position as Executive Officer, TF 79. As I transition to my new assigment I will carry with me the experience gained being a part of TF 77 and the support I had of my former CO Captain Anders and TF members. Upon reporting to TF 79 and my new CO Captain Shackelford, I will forge ahead with my new tasking to execute tactics and procedures maximizing combat effectiveness in a PVP environment with exceeding leadership and dedication. I look forward to serving with my new shipmates in TF 79, and as always, the whole of the 7th Fleet.

Now on to killing Klingons and telling lies about it.
