STO DEV Salami_Inferno has posted the upcoming release schedule for Tribble and somewhat buried in the announcement is the news of the event.

1. On Friday the 23rd of July, 2010 there will be a play with the DEVs event on Tribble.
2. This will be preceded by a character wipe on Tuesday the 20th of July (reasoning is given in the final paragraph of the DEV post).

Hey!
As we count down to the release of season 2, we're going to be making a few more tribble updates and we want you all to be in the know.
Today July 16th
* We will be pushing a new build hopefully around 8pm PST
* Ship interiors will be in this build! UPDATE (since you all asked so politely)
Tuesday July 20th
* Another Tribble update with bug fixes found over the weekend
* We will be doing a character wipe of tribble! Be sure to reimport in time for friday
Friday July 23rd
* Season 2 final build candidate pushed to Tribble
* This build will have everything that season 2 has to offer aside from the weekly missions.
Tuesday July 27th
* Season 2 is LIVE on Holodeck!
Before the questions pour in about the character wipe, let me explain. Friday the 23rd we're going to have a "play with the devs" event and we want everyone to be starting fresh on their 45. The main reason is we want you all to be able to play the episodes you've already completed and tell us how you feel about the update as a whole when it's all fixed and put together.
