Congratulations, Lieutenant.

I am going to be quite frank with you, Mr. Clonfert. Firstly, this position was not granted to you without much debate, inquiry, and due process. Secondly, I sincerely support this appointment. I spoke on your behalf during the discussions on whether to appoint you or not, and I believe, wholeheartedly, that you can do an outstanding job for the fleet in this capacity.

The question is, will you?

Don't make an ass of us, especially those of us who supported placing you here. We all expect you to do your job, since you've asked for it - namely, introducing the 7th to other fleets, building inter-fleet relationships, and being something of a public voice for us to the STO community. I would advise working closely with both Mr. K'ggress, our other community voice as Public Relations Officer, as well as with Mr. Flint, who I believe is heading up recruiting efforts.

Don't forget that you also have duties as fleet FTO.

Good luck and Congratulations, Mr. Clonfert, - it is well earned. I just thought you should know that nothing goes unnoticed around here and that people are watching to see what you do with this. Make us proud.

Thank you all, and Captains Shackelford sir, I thank you and all who have supported me in this, I shall do all I can to make you proud and uphold the honor of the 7th.

I do understand that some might think that this duty shoud not be put on an Lt, but I will again do all I can to prove that I am worthy. I was going to say this in an other forum, but now that you put it up sir, I am stepping down as FTO because of two reasons,
1. I simply can't be on in the main time zone any more and there for I don't feel I can be of much use here,
2. I also do this to focus on my new duty as Ambassdor and will from now one direct most of my time and resources to be the best ambassador I can be.
