My apologies, I started this vidcap a bit late into the match. Was a lot of fun, once we got the sides somewhat balanced.

Outstanding footage Sir!!

The 88th / 7th ITS will release an After Action Report later, to open up the discussion on what was learned and what needs to be done in the future.

Thank you to all who attended this first round! We had at least 20 members online and in vent at one time!!

Good Showing "Lucky 7th"!

Uh, is this over with? I was under the impression that this was a three day event and you're already posting videos and talking after action reports. Please clarify.

Yes CPT, there are still two more days of war games. The video was posted just so all could see the fun that was had.

The after action report is for the end of the first stage of this operation. We have already learned a few things, and those will be implemented in time for tonight's round.

After tonight's run, I'm sure we will learn yet a few things more and those will be implemented before tomorrow night's action.

I hope that this has clarified your concerns. We all look forward to seeing all members of the "Lucky 7th" participating in these events, and all will have the opportunity I assure you.

I will have to argue about the "fun being had by all" as I was one of those that did not seem to be able to have fun. After being put into the ground action the next mission I was never invited. While I was not speaking up in chat this was becuase there was so many people talkiing in chat that I did not wish to add to the chaos. Yet dispite a couple of people commented about my not being invited the person organziing the evenmt basically said okay we are all here lets go.

At that point I comment in fleet chat and figured the next run I would get an invite, I moved to a serperate chat channel to basically get out of the chaos that was taking place.

Of the lessons learned I HOPE one of them was how to deal with invites in a manner that is easy to work. The current game system allows for more than one person to do invites so make use of it. One person hamdles the Klingon fleet players and another handles the Fed side. A request is made to X up in fleet chat. By posting an X in fleet chat you are showing you are ready to join without the chaos of vent.

Wuth this information in front of the two people we do not need to spend time fixing buddy lists and can easily add peopel that want to particiapte and not miss anyone along the way.

I hope things go smoother tonight.

Sure did, sir. It was confusing as you seemed to be speaking of it in the past tense. Thanks for clarifying.

1. If you did not speak up, how could it be known that you were available for an invite?

2. Moving to a separate channel would not help, but only making even more impossible to know you needed an invite. Also, when in-game where the inviting was taking place, the vent window is not in view. So if you went to another channel, I would have no idea you went there.

3. MG Talbot said that he was also trying to invite but it still was not working. Perhaps that feature is still not online or it is recently bugged.

4. I have little doubt that the more we do these events, the better we will all get at setting them up.

It proved to be a difficult, but not an impossible task, to navigate the system for the first time. Some people had their connections drop. Others switched to new toons. Not all of the names were available on my friends list, and using the friends list is the fastest and easiest way to do the invites.

Again, this was the first running of the 3 - Day event. There were at least 5 matches run (I was there for the first 3), so everyone had an opportunity to participate.

I apologize to you, if you did not have fun. Please bear with us, I am pretty sure the event will run more smoothly tonight.

Utmost apologies, Mr. K'grress. I have faith that this was all simply an oversight. We want everyone to be able to participate, I can assure you.

I can understand not wanting to add to the level of confusion or seem selfish by trying to strongarm your requests over voicecomms; but on the same token, don't be afraid to pipe in, either. I know leadership wanted to get everyone in who wanted to, and I'm extremely sorry we missed you.

Hopefully tonight will go smoother, like you said.

K'gress... if you really wanted in you would have kept bugging someone for an invite. We spent more time trying to get people into the slots than actually fighting. There was plenty of time to make yourself known to the person doing the invites. I do recall atleast twice we hadn't even filled up all 20 slots. Giving up after the first match is your fault only. I'm not trying beat you down or anything I'm just frustrated that you blame everyone else for your not getting an invite.

This goes for anyone that wants in tonight. Be annoying! Let us know you want an invite. Keep bugging people. In turn you will get an invite. If not that round.. then definitely the next. Just keep sending tells or repeating it in vent.

That is all.

Red squadron made a respectable showing and the Blue squadron learned quickly...overall I rate tonight as a big success!

A little more the respectable

Under-Ranked, we used our tactical advantages to the best of our abilities. Blue learned fast, and it was extremely close at the end of round 2.

Sorry I ran a bit late for this run, and I will not be available for the Sunday Night run. I have a family event, which I did not know of until today (SAT), that will have me away from home until around 10:00 PM.

If I do get home any time earlier than that I will be there!
