Friend of mine pointed me to this short story written by the up-and-coming author, Brandon Sanderson. This is a really good read and I highly suggest taking a little time to read it!

This is a link to a story called "Star-Crossed" that covers a Star Trek/Star Wars cross-over. I tend to avoid those like the plague, but this one is really well written. Be forewarned, though, it is quite a long story, so engage it in pieces or when you have a few days free.
