Halloween event suggestion

Even though Halloween is still a little over a month away, I had an idea this morning that I wanted to run by the fleet. You know the holo-emitter batteries you can purchase with gold-pressed latnum? Why not have a "masquerade" event (or two) where you come in a ship costume. This could make for a fun PvP event, though I need to find out if the "disguise" lasts past ship destruction.

If enough folks think this is a good/fun idea, there should be enough time for folks to accrue the GPL they need. Some of the basic holo-emitters are relatively inexpensive.

Confirmed that the duration of the holoemitter device stops when your ship is destroyed. You can re-activate it after you respawn.

This is a great idea that sounds like a lot of fun. Sadly I will miss this event is held just on Halloween.

The street I live on is one of the "safe" streets in the town I live in. This means we see around 400 kids that night so we go all out. This year the wife and I are dressing as Star Fleet officers.

I would like to offer some ideas on this subject, as this is one of my favorite times of the year. The suggestion of the ship holo emitters is a good one, I would like to add two more to the list. Lets use the three borg missions the STF's in game as an option, the other could be a ground based PVP of just a team of 3 to 5 vs a team of ten zombies, ghouls or Ghastly beings, also have someone that has Ghost ship in there mission logs and set that up to run for everyone as well.

IF your wondering how we would do the ground combat and get a team of ten Zombies that would be easy just make an alien and chose the infected skin and choose what ever eyes you want and the clawed hands, also we can throw in the liberated borg out fits . We can have one VA Zombie and group all the others up to him or let the team of 5 be knocked down to say commander level. This way it wont be so over powering on either side and everyone will have some fun. I am thinking of other ways that this can work.

Oh and one more thing last year we did cadet island as a Halloween themed story event on the website, I would like us to do it again.

Anyway these are my ideas and thoughts on the subject.
