Finally broke down and started playing with DemoRecord. This is what resulted.

Nicely done. I need to start messing around with that but I don't have the time. Maybe some time next year.

I dont know what a resolve is? Font used was STNextGen something. Got the fonts from a website much like this one

http://www.trekmania.net/fontsmidis/fonts.htm

Anyone know how to do fly-by's in DemoRecord? I'd like to make V2 to be even more reminiscent of the Original Series.

in order to do a fly by and have the camera stay in one spot you need to pick the spot then clone the point that its on then set each point for each consecutive second for howerever long you want the camera to stay put... thats the only thing i dont like about the new demorecord there is no hold time to keep the camera in one spot.... and by resolve i mean the screen change from when u went to outside your ship to the bridge. I'm proabaly gonna do another demorecord video and class when i get my comp back...

Hunter - I think by resolve, he's talking about the transition you have in between the first part ouside of the ship to where it dissolves into the bridge scene.

Otherwise, what Mercer said about the fly by. They changed it I guess with Season 3, I haven't messed with it since then.

I see. Now that I'm educated what a resolve is I understand your dilemma. Since I'm using the free trial version of fraps, I can only have a max of 30 seconds of continuous video so the part where it dissolves into the bridge is actually the end of one clip and the beginning of another. So... yes, you can only put transitions at the beginning or end of a clip, but since I only had 30 second clips anyway, I never noticed a need to put one in the middle of a clip.
