Experimental Ships on Tribble (FOR FREE)

Not sure if you have all seen this on Tribble yet, but you can now purchase some of the experimental ships for free on Tribble.

ON ESD, go to the shipyard and speak to the Shuttle clerk. There you will see a pop-up for "Requisition Experimental Ship". Select it, and you will have the option of purchasing the following ships for free:

1. Vulcan D'Kyr Science Vessel
2. Multi-Vector Advanced Escort
3. Light Science Vessel
4. Peregrine Attack Frighter

Assuming you have an empty ship slot, you can add any of the above for free and play them on Tribble. This might give you and opportunity to "test-drive" before you buy. The screen capture below is of what i saw.

I have also dabbled with the Attack Fighters, and I plan on purchasing one for both Fed a Klingon.

It will be a featured internal, PVP event I would like to plan.

A squadron of fighters vs. each Task Forces' Flag Ship!

That would probably have to be done on tribble as i know some ppl dont plan on buying the fighters.. like myself

Until STO comes up with an actual use for fighters I see no real point to buying them...right now my Delta Flyer and Captain's Yacht cover most uses I've found for small craft
