I will attend, probably on my tactical since I have the quest for him accepted and waiting. If possible I need an invite for him if it's ok for my alt to join the fleet.

I've been working with some other fleets within the federation. After studying their tactics i have found one that works well, it is contingent on numbers 15+
Briefing will begin 2110 sharp
EDIT: Fixed a lot of speelling and grammer issues. :P

i'm assuming we will be going ahead with the CE event, if we are please note that you will need to spec your skills again once you log in, if you have not already done so.

I'd say we give killing it a try; hopefully everyone will log on in time to get their skill points spent, etc. So, please log on no later than 2030 to give yourself time to get everything sorted before we start.
If the CE doesn't cooperate (i.e. the tactics won't work due to changes), then we can go to a Plan "B" of doing ground FAs.

ok look this shit bother me I can't be there and yeah it suck, but tactically if you want to beat this thing stay in a tight group in one place tac's take the shards and eng take the CE science supports the fleet is the only way you do it. Love you guys freezing my ass off at the bottom of the world

Shack, I suggest adding the 8-pointed Chaos "arrowburst" symbol as an overlay to this occasion's ribbon.
This is a more decorative version of that "arrowburst" symbol, but will let you know what I mean:

Did you all kill the CE on the second night?
My recollection of the first STF against the CE, and the only time we beat it, was that we had a tight knot of ships just within range of the CE and a smaller - faster escort type ship dove in when smaller shards appeared and drew them away from the main group. Then the main group would pick off some of the small shards as they passed while pummelling the CE as the shards went on the far side. When the amount of shards were reduced to about 10% the CE would launch a new batch of large shards that needed breaking up. It took about 2 rounds of small shards to destroy the CE. If I remember correctly, we picked off the CE twice that night.
I noticed 2 things changed with CE scenario. One, the CE itself was slower the first time we took it on. It didn't follow a target as fast, so we didn't have to move as much. Second, the amount of smaller shards and their speed both increased this time (CE-4).
This was by far a more difficult STF than the first time we ran the scenario. The other problem we had, I recall a larger group present on CE-1 than were present on the first night of CE-4. A larger group of ships present in this STF would have probably tipped the scales in our favor.
