Never would I thought I'd say this, being a true to the bones Star Wars fan, but I like STO better then TOR. TOR is fun, but STO just catches my appeal better. At least right now. Maybe when I get higher lvl and don't have to run forever just to do somethin haha

They are definitely very different. ToR is more standard theme park style.

I enjoy both for different reasons, and will keep playing each of them

yea same for me, its nice to have more then one game to play when there is no content on the other. just goin to suck if STO (if they ever) ramp up content. I'll be like a lil kid tryin to decided which toy to play with

Right now, TOR is fresh for everyone. In a month or two, that will wear off.

I currently have three games to occupy my time:

SWTOR, STO (I'm shifting to F2P in January) and Skyrim.

In the summer (June), I'll make a return to EVE and check out the new content there.

The T3 BCs are glass cannons; nice damage output, no tank to speak of. They were really high priced when the expansion was released, now they're down to about 40 to 50 mil for the hull.

Yes, I was in STO about a week ago! Even ran through Infected with a group.

As for "glass cannon", the Minmatarr BC "Tornado" has 7 mid slots. That is a pretty heafty shield tank!!

The Tornado has 5 Mid slots.

I read its stats when it was originally listed as a Battleship, and actually it is still listed with those slots on the EVE forums.

Regardless, I want one.... or actually all 4! because I'm a mid-sized ship captain at heart in EVE.

Looks-wise, I like the Oracle, Naga and Talos (roughly in that order), and the tornado is sorta "meh."
