Jan Staff Meeting Minutes

The monthly staff meeting was held aboard the USS Challenger last night at 2100 hours.

1. A lengthy discussion regarding the new Fleet uniform resulted in selection of a TNG variant. The uniform has been added to the Fleet Uniform tab for all three careers, Duty Officers (Fleet Captains) and Command Staff.

2. The Meet n' Greet originally scheduled for this weekend has been postponed to 3 Feb 2012, the STO anniversary weekend. Place and time TBD.

3. Effective immediately, Fleet Captain Huckabee is assigned as KLINGOPS, in charge of our KDF fleet, and frocked to Rear Admiral. He has a lot in mind for the 7th ITS, and also welcomes inputs. He is also looking for motivated personnel to assist him in various roles; keep an eye out for the forum posts.

4. A 7th ITS event is scheduled for the 24th and 25th of February. RA Huckabee will have more details forthcoming.

5. A reminder of our weekly Fleet gatherings and doings:
Mon: STFs
Tues: Kick A Tribble
Wed: Heritage Fleet
Thurs: UGC

6. Speaking of Fleet gatherings and doings, I recently posted a reminder of everyone's obligations as a member of the fleet. We set those requirements not to be ogres, but to give you incentive to be an active member of the 7th.

No date was set for next month's Staff meeting, so more to follow on that.

Just wanted to say, this was one of the best meeting we have had. The Command Staff are doing a wonderful job and as it members, we really need to support the changes and try to attend some of the weekly events. As always, I truly feel that 7th Fleet is the best in game. Mr Huckbee, has many wonderful ideas about the KDF, with a new Commander we need to give him our support. Mr Huckbee, I will be there sir.

Many of use play other games, lets us not forget where we started nor the people we enjoy playing with, for me I started here with STO and this great fleet. It will always be my primary game and the people are the best.

Thanks guys. It's an honor to be part of the Flag Staff. I never seen myself wearing a white collar. Will take some use getting use to for sure . As new Rear Admiral I plan to do my best and to help enforce what the 7th stands for.
