Personal Log: USS Redeemed Temporarily Dry Docked

“We need more ships on the frontline, that’s all there is to it.” Admiral Quinn said, while organizing his datapads on his desk. “I hope you don’t mind Zondi.”

“Not at all sir. The Redeemed is ready.” Brent Zondi responded dutifully

“Very good. I’m transferring you to Fortin’s Seventh Fleet, effective immediately.”

“Understood Admiral.”

“One more thing Brent, I had one of the officers, a Captain Ganos Lal, from the Seventh examine your ship. He recommended a complete refit of all your systems and I have agreed with his recommendation. Your vessel is dry-docked until the overhaul is complete. Dismissed.”

Personal Log: I’m temporarily on leave, as is my crew, while the Redeemed is getting the biggest refit it’s had in a long time. She’s getting completely new weapon systems, consoles, engines and the whole shebang! The engineers have assured me that it won’t be done over night, but she’ll be in the best shape of her life after this refit. They have already fitted her with her new weapons to give her a better punch. She’s also losing her old paint job for one more in line with the 7th’s standard, and getting a new designation. This will be the Redeemed-C once it’s all complete. I’m proud to say that the name was never worn on another ship. The A came with the first overhaul when the chassis and advanced engine designs were installed. When the go ahead for the installation of the Ablative Generators, hull integrity strengthening, and other upgrades was given, they added the B. To say I’m eagerly waiting to see my ship when it is complete would be a huge understatement. It still needs quite a bit of work to get up the “Lucky” 7th’s standards for duty, but I’m sure that it will be soon! – End Log.

Hello everyone. This is my introductory post; I just took awhile to figure out how I wanted to do it. I just wanted to say that I am excited to be here and can’t wait to play with you all in-game!
