Lance invited me aboard yesterday, and I have to say it is pretty impressive. There is also a detail we found out. After he gave the grand tour, he left the ship, logged off the game and I was still able to do what ever I was doing on his frieghter. That is the impressive part.

The game treats it like it is a small craft alternate, so he can switch on the fly invite you in, leaving you to do what you need without blowing credits to get to a starbase. Plus the ship sells commodities at 1/3 of replicator energy credits. This is a major asset for Lance and by extention to the Fleet. It is like winning the lottery.
