Did y'all see where they got lifetime on sale again and if you buy it between next maintance and Nov 12 you get instant access to all Vet rewards, including ship???

Kinda a slap in the face to you lifetimers.

I like the ships.. but I kinda have to agree with the forum rage on this one since starting tomorrow all lifers will get all the rewards including the ships even though they havent reached 1000 days. I'm a lifer so that means I get the ships tomorrow instead of 9 days from now when I hit 1000 and mavendorf said he was what? 2 days away? is it far that I get it before him just because im a lifer? (dont know if ur a lifer mavendorf so my example maybe moot )

True, you original lifers have got your money's worth by far. I just think its crummy to have veteran awards handed out for $200 bucks. When I see the rewards I think "man he has been here awhile." Now it'll be mixed with "hey there's another guy that paid $200 for a ship."

Eh been a lifer since launch so mine paid for itself long ago and it don't really bother me since I have come to expect Cryptic/PW to treat us like shite since they already has our money and don't figure they get any more from us

Ya, it's a bit of a slap in the face to lifers in particular and players in general. In a way, though, it's a better deal than the lockboxes. Instead of spending 200 bucks on keys with no gaurantee you'll get the ship you're after, at least this way you know wtf you're buying.

They aren't selling a lifetime sub, they're selling a ship that just happens to include vip status in perpetuity.

I've got to add though, after being able to mess around with the Chimera for about 20 minutes or so tonight, it's a pretty neat ship.

I got the Klingon ship on my Klingon main and I has to say I do indeed like it. It takes a bit of getting used to but it seems more useful to me than my Neg Vargh...haven't had a chance to try out the Fed version yet though
