MWO-Open Beta

For those interested in Mechwarrior Online, it entered Open Beta this past Mon 10/29.

I find it to be extremely fun and addicting. If you like me and like FPS but get tired of the same routine, this is by far a really nice change of pace. It's even more rewarding playing as part of a team.

Yep, it is certainly nice to once again strap into a Mech and "feel the power."

Just a note of caution; you are immediately thrown into the fray. So far, at least that I have found is that there is no training area to get familiar with your Mech, fire controls, and overall movement. Lucky for me, I still have "EarthSiege II" loaded on this computer, so I was able to bring back my Mech skill base. Also note, like STO, there is a hard-core fan base that live, eat, and breathe the "BattleTech" universe.

So, if you step out into the field of honor, and see a smoking heap that use to be a Raven, that's probably me, callsign - WupTdo.

Gonna give it a try, never played a mechwarrior game but i do love giant robots and FPS's!
