I've been spending some time traveling sector to sector to pick up the assignment chains for my doff missions. My question is, are the missions the same for everyone in a sector?
If so, then a friend in another sector could check the doff missions for me and let me know if there are any chains assignments up at the time.

In my experience it varies. I've went to sectors before where a fleet member said a mission was up and it not be there at all for me and another, but for another fleet member it was.

Been trying to finish the last two missions for the 10 mission "Kitty-Kat" chain for the last several months. I wait till have lots of missions open and will hit up to four sectors trying to finish these two off. The "Kitty-Kat" chain and "Hamlet" mission (from Ops Officer on your ship), have been driving me nuts.
Oh well, I just hate unfinished business, especially SB/Embassy stuff. My OCD, my curse.
