On the path to a dream!

Not sure if I told anyone about this. But I have a major interest in radio broadcasting and have had it since high school. The entertainment, technology, and even the personalities involved make it so much fun to listen to and can create some great minds in media.

As of two weeks ago, I have gained a job along my own career path. I have a job now with AM 1590 KLIV out here in San Jose, CA. I actually have a job that is absolutely fun and really technical. I tell ya, there's something liberating about having a job where you're not constantly being yelled at or having to deal with customers.

I'm an audio engineer for our block programming. My job is to record the client's program and to make it sound good and natural to play on air on that weekend or when they want to have it on.

The only downside is that the shows I record deal with investing and real estate. I don't understand a thing about that but I make damn sure they sound good and legible.

As long as they don't talk religion, then I'll be happy to stay on there for years and years! I can't wait to see what challenges come up now!

Thanks! I hope someone comes in to create a show based on Star Trek or something nerdy like that. But for now it's the boring real estate and investment shows. Though I may be taking over a show that deals with alternative energy as well.
