U.S.S. Alliance Maintenance Update

After encountering an unprecedented, astonishingly intense Ion storm, we have finally limped our way to Starbase 739 India. Commander Skevin has hypothesized that due to the storm's proximity to a massive Zeta Scorpii solar flare, the storm's particles were excited to such a state, that they were able to damaged the computer core through it's Duritanium sheathing. The station engineers have not been able to tell me how long it will take to rebuild. I've authorized shore leave for the crew. I hope some downtime will ease the boredom of being grounded.

(In reality, I am down both of my computers for the near future. Last night, I spilled a glass of water on my laptop... > My desktop died and I'm getting it's replacement assembled. I should be up and running soon, but as of now, I have no ETA.)
