"Throwback Thursday"

Yeah, so, this is a Facebook Thing (TM) evidently, and yeah, Thursday was yesterday.

 

I chose for my picture one I cherish, as it represents the time I got to spend in person with a fine, longstanding member of our Fleet, "Wild Bill" Augerson. This is "only" from three years ago, but it represents one side of a challenge, and, well, let's just say I'm glad he's now on this side of it.

I know you guys met when Augerson was going though his rough patch and all, and that has special meaning to you both.  I was glad to meet Shackelford, and look forward to the next visit.  We joined the Fleet a day apart.  I think it is special when any of us get to meet one another.

Yep, still not completely sure where we're going to plant ourselves for the next few years, but it'll definitely be close.
