Apologies for not getting to things

Hello everyone,

Sorry for not getting things done lately.  Last week was chaos do to a death in the family.  Last weekend was a getaway for me and the wife, since we couldn't do it on our anniversary weekend and then my back went out yesterday.  I also had to reconfigure some of the networking in my house to make all the PCs and TVs work the way they should.  So, I hope to have things done this week (at least by the weekend).  Just letting you all know that I'm not shirking - just a matter of life happening all at once.

Dude I know all about back pain as well. Two herniated discs in my lower back. Also my deepest sympathies for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are coming your way.

My Condolences Sir, I know the feeling of this, when I lost my father I was bedridden for 2 weeks due to stress alone. Good things will come your way soon.

Thanks everyone.  We had a bunch of family in town and a lot of planning to do.  It was the mother of a sister-in-law (by marriage - my wife's brother's wife).   Her mother had cancer for a few years and it started spreading.  It was thankful that they kept her out of much of the pain in the last two weeks.  She fell and was found unconscious, which put her in the hospital and prompted my sister-in-law to come in from Dallas.  The doctors ran a bunch of tests, which is when they found her cancer had spread.  She went quickly from that point.

im currently in the process of being diagnosed with possibly a herniated disc..still waiting to get a mri ... i had xrays that showed degenerative disc and sciatica ... what pain meds do you get? im just wondering what to ask for/try..i know everyone is different, but just wondering where on the scale to shoot... right now im on about 5 5mg percocet a day and want to up it, but dont want to ask for too much outside the realm of what may be prescribed for this condition...
