They removed the shared cooldown from tac/sci/eng teams.

It's very dependent on your specific build. The only thing I changed was that I dropped transfer shield strength for a science team.

I agree with Davis. Sci team is something nice to have now. This should also allow Sci ships to help out with healing teammates. Not to mention that ships like the Galaxy or Oddy that can slot an extra LCDR eng slot with Eng Team III to go with a Reverse Polarity on a tech build......pure dreadnought.
