Their are some of you that did not get to go on the last Fleet Action. I am welling to go with you guys this friday March 6th at 2000 hr EST we will need to meet at Starbase 39 before heading out. I am seeking volunteers to help out with this we are going to need about 16 to 20 people. This is not an official fleet action so if we do not get enough then we will have to call it. No hard feelings just folks I think had their fill of that one fleet action. For those of you who missed the last CE fleet action I expect you to read up on the CE fleet action and the After action report, both of these articles can be found on the form and will be useful.
Scott out.

Mr. Scott,
One thing I read on the STO forums, that might be of interest, is that when attacking the CE directly avoid using any type of torpedo / kinetic damage. The reason explained was that kinetic damage causes the Crystal to shatter (more shards). By using just beam / disruptor weapons the Crystal is being melted or vaporized (less shards produced).
This maybe something to test out. It also allows for ships to remain in orbit, and continue firing, without having to make that turn inward to fire torpedos.
I believe our record time was 17 minutes and a few seconds. I'll be there Friday night to see if we can beat that.
There is also a post by a Dev on the STO forums on how to trick the game's instancing system to get 25 of your own fleet members into the same instance. I will post the link here as soon as I find it.

An interesting point about the torps. In the 17+ minute run which I was there for, we did a few coordinated torp attacks. I don't know if that means anything but it certainly didn't really slow us down either.
