ATTN Beta Strike Group, PVP meeting Friday 6/4/2010

Ok guys were back at it this weekend and we have some stuff in store, need to keep an eye out here for possible updates to this post. We will have a short meeting at 6:30, then we will move on to PVP. I hope to see more of you guys this weekend , with that in mind all the new stuff from the patches there will be some big changes in Strike Group Beta. Just a reminder this event is posted on the in-game fleet Calendar, looking forward to seeing you guys there!.

Events this weekend:

Friday: CANCELED

Place: K-7 meet up and move out to Drozona System
Time: 6:30 P.M. C.S.T Roll call, Meeting starts at 7:00 C.S.T

We will need everyone in vent TF-78.

Saturday/Sunday:

Place: K-7
Time: 6:30 P.M C.S.T roll call, then move out to Drozana System at 7:00 P.M. C.S.T

Saturday and Sunday are up in the air, but I should be able to make at least one of the two.

However, I am Captain - 2. Is this high enough level? I read that the new patch has a "squad" option to compensate.

Is there any thing "tactics, mission, etc" I need to research before tonight?

To everyone in Strike Group Beta, first thank you for replying to the message. Two make sure you check back here for updates, Friday has been canceled. I am moving it to Saturday hopefully its more convenient for everyone. Something I need from everyone is what times are best for everyone. At this point I can do any day of the week, I am willing to work with you guys so its more convenient for you. Please get the word out to your TF leaders and mates, have them post a reply here in this post about what times are best for them. I plan on at least three days a week, that way we can have at least one weekday one day in the middle of the week and a weekend day as well.

Since I am new to STO PVP, and the 7th, what exactly are our tactics?

- Send in the cruiser to draw fire while escort flank and science heals cruiser?

- Crowd control their Science / Cruiser / Escort?

- Any "Essential" skills to have?

Are we using the PVP queue to find battles or is there another way? Is there some sort of "open" PvP?

Ground or Space?

Excuse the ignorance, but would rather ask now than in the middle of a fight!
