Shiloh has just intercepted a signal from the USS Hood. Signal strength was weak and communications garbled. The signals team has run the transmission through several intuitive decryption filters, but this was the best they could come up with. Transmission copy follows:

Gentlemen, John Randle could use a reminder that he has friends in this world. He has been having a rough time of things, and if you knew him, please take a few moments to write him a private message with some support and love.
I do not wish to reveal the nature of his situation, but I can assure you a kind word would go an incredibly long way.

It seems the USS Hood had sent a priority distress signal at an unknown stardate. Using logical deduction, it seems the message may go as followed.
"We have taken heavy damage. Warp Core offline. Dilithium depleted. Life support and impulse power barely sustainable. Urgently need assistance. Making best speed to ..."
Unfortunately there are no clues to where there destination may be.
Where was this signal intercepted at, and how long ago?

Booty Bay will keep an eye out for the Hood. May God speed...
