A couple vidcaps

Seeing the vidcap Commodore Anders made, I decided to give xfire a whirl. I made two vidcaps last night/this morning.

The first is of me having fun taking out Terran Empire ships in a Deep Space Encounter.

The second is the second space portion of the episode The Long Night.

If you guys go to the trouble of making videos, the guildlaunch site does support the use of a xfire_video tag.

When you go to make a post, below the subject is a series of icons to assist in making bb code tags - bold, underline, etc. Below that are two drop down menus. On the left hand menu select 'extra BBCodes,' and on the right hand menu select 'video: xfire url.'

Then insert the url where the video is hosted in between the opening and closing tags, and viola - embedded video. Great for Captain's Log threads and front page posts (if you would like to have something on the front page, make your post in the news section and PM me - I'll take a look at it. Be sure to include your namebar at the beggining of the post if you have one).

Thank you, sir, on both counts. This is from one I did this morning. Mister Anders told me how to get a better quality video, and I also checked the audio recording. Little did I know it would also record what was being said on Vent (though not what I was saying, just my push-to-talk activation and deactivation sounds.)

This video will also help corroborate that you have a better chance at drops on higher difficulties, as I net two green drops, one after the other.
