Wow it appears that there are already mods for the game some look very cool like the LCARS. Disclaimer: I have not play tested these mods yet and do not know how it will effect the game. I have already placed the web site in the links section. but here is the web address if anyone wants to try these. If so desired please post to this thread on any feedback good or bad.

Well they did and it works heres the proof short ( yeah short almost 5 minutes) xfire vid of me walkin around ESD with the new cars in place looked really good cant wait to try the toobar ones!!

Per request of Fleet Admiral Fortin I have posted a thread in the STO forums asking that this mod be included as official material in the next game patch. I would ask you all to help with a show of support for this by posting to the thread.
