I'm okay...really

Last Friday our house was destroyed by one of the tornadoes that went through the area. Thankfully we were not home so no one was injured and our cats even managed to make it through unhurt. I am working on a cobbled together system on a questionable internet link so my presence will be sporadic and infrequent until we get things sorted out and and a bit more settled. Will try to drop in and say hi over the next few days

I can only imagine what a devastating time you are going through right now, and hope and pray you have access to everything you need as you begin this next phase of recovery. Appreciate the offers my friends but right now it's all pretty much covered...am staying with my daughter, waiting on the insurance company to do their thing while I compose list after list of contents lost to try and get at least some reimbursement...sadly my entire book collection(Over 500 with many signed editions) is a total loss...what the tornado did not toss across town the constant rain has destroyed...have located a possible house to rent and may even be moving in on Monday if we get it arranged...will try to stay in touch over the next few days if the computer and connection hold up
