It's definitely a thought provoking image. Maybe I just hate Picard.

Or maybe I really like him. That was a particularly good episode, imho. I was simply looking for TNG images, and when I ran across this one, I couldn't resist slapping it up on the site.

Maybe it's just a reminder that things don't always go as we planned. That we have a constant series of challenges to overcome. That there are consequences for our actions, more so for our mistakes, and we have to find a way to live with them. The good guys don't always win, the bad guys don't always wear black; and the path to achieving our loftiest goals is often fraught with our darkest fears.

How we deal with death is at least as important as how we deal with life. Meaning? None that I'm aware of, sir. ;)
