It just doesn't seem possible to have a US navy without an Enterprise...here's hoping the next one wears the name as proudly and with just as long and storied career

Last I'd read the new carrier being built (can't remember what it's goin to be named) people were petitioning for them to name it Enterprise instead.

I know the new Carrier will be named the Gerald R Ford (because it is the first of the Gerald R Ford Class Aircraft Carrier) but last i heard the petition was for the second to be named Enterprise.
Lets face it, the United Stats has always had an Enterprise in the fleet. We need to keep it that way.
