RIF: The Movie ..... Production starting soon!

I have a paper for class due next week and have been working on these past weeks and have been unable to start with anything. That will change once the paper is over. So starting next week production will begin!! I just want to go over vent etiquette and will be posting different terminology for scripts a little later on. All members who participated in phase one will be contacted soon regarding times the are on and such.

So once again vent etiquette for me will be as follows. all forms will have RIF: in front

RIF: DESIGN = This means I am either designing foundry sets or writing scripts based off the RP thread. Feel free to drop in, though I may be concentrating and may not answer right away(unless I put up 420 as well)

RIF: DEMO = This means I am taking demo recordings of shots, whether by myself or with others. If you do drop in please wait to be acknowledged as I may be giving instructions to other ppl if present.

RIF: VO RED or GREEN = This means I am taking V oice O ver from our members. Please DO NOT enter the channel if the RED comment is up until it goes GREEN. I will have the voice functions for vent disabled, but this is to prevent any other mishaps. I have red and green so if theres a break people can enter the channel and listen before the next recording session.

RIF: EDITING = This means I am either editing the movie in the movie software or fraps the demo record files. If I'm frapsing I will proabably mute vent, but other then that this one is basically the same as DESIGN.

Thank you in advance for your consideration. Once again, I only post this because I know time for some members is precious so the less takes for them the faster it goes and the faster the movie gets done!

Tuesday and Sat nights im usually here. The week of thanksgiving will be weird, i have no clue when im working and when im not. I will try to keep myself in vent if im on my computer, but as it is the holiday season, i tend to be sleeping.... a lot.

Yeah it does I'm glad I'm off Black Friday though

And probabaly wont start actual production till after Thanksgiving I may just set design and stuff

O_O also if everyone could tell me if they have the character that needs to be in the movie on holodeck, tribble or redshirt, so when I do start using the foundry to build sets I'll do it on the server that has the mos characters.... or it may be easier to have everyone copy a character to redshirt we'll see

Also I forgot to mention that we will definitely need VO extras for the movie so if anyone wants to help out let me know!!

((OH and RUNAZ... may need your wife to voice your FEMALE character... :P..... oh wait Mavendorf too... GOSH DARN YOUR FEMALE MAINS!! ))

I'm bumping this up as my interest in TOR has wained a little and I'm looking to do something more artful then just swing my lightsaber around. I hopefully will be set designing while working on my new school term stuff. I even have the first few minutes of the movie done I MAY ... put it up as a teaser... undecided yet >. What I really need are music selections to put in the movie. Three main categories. Action, Drama, and Mello type sounding pieces to put in the movie( i think more action then the other two).. anything star trek related of course or even stuff thats not... but not TOO far off the beaten path in terms of sound thanks alot!

i don't know if this would mean anything to this production, but i have voiceover experience and an extensive acting background. i was the voice actor for The Chief in the Nickolodeon show Action League Now! on Kablam for two seasons. I also was the "Do ya have it?" voice on Guts. My most recent movie experience was as an extra in Super 8. In the establishing shot down Main Street in the trailer, i'm the person sitting on the bench screen right in red pants. i'm not trying to drop my own name, just letting you know that i'm available for this type of work. let me know if you need me.

I will probabaly take you up on that offer of VO help cause it looks like there may be a few extra VO needs in terms of extras and screams... hehe as for this...
