Interesting Thread...

Just a few things to note..

Yes, I will be leaving if a few weeks for a new opportunity. That's pretty much all of it. It has nothing to do with PvP, STO, or Cryptic. It's just time for me to do something different.

As far as PvP is concerned, they will move my responsibilities over to someone else at some point, it's not my place to tell you who that's going to be or when it will happen.

I had planned on telling everyone on the forums at some point, but probably closer to when I was actually leaving (I'll be here for a few more weeks).

As far as who said what and when pertaining to my departure, it doesn't really matter. It's not a huge secret or anything. I mentioned my plans to a few folks on a Vent server this weekend. If I had wanted to keep it a secret I wouldn't have said anything. The folks on the Vent server have been very helpful over the last few weeks and not telling them felt a little dishonorable.

Lying by omission is still lying in my book, so I tend to just not say "anything" if the topic isn't something I want generally known. I had suggested they not say anything mainly to avoid drama threads just like this one, but whats done is done.
