has anyone herd of this before?
my wife went to pick up her paycheck today( she's a nurse at a nursing home) and the receptionist told her that it wasn't there.
apparently as of the first of the year the pay period has changed from every 2 weeks to the 8th and 23rd of each month with out telling the employee's
just wondering if anyone had heard of this or if its even leagal to do without telling your employees

I dont know that it's illegal, but it's kind of common sense to forewarn your employees. The worst thing you can do to someone as an employer is screw with their pay.

It wouldn't be a criminal matter, so I'd so no on the "illegal" part for that. It would be a civil matter, aka you'd have to talk to a lawyer.
